Scientist Laboratory

During the 4th quarter of 2008, I worked on a project where I was trying to create my own "Evil Scientist Lab." I drew up some sketches to nail down my basic feel, and then worked in Autodesk Maya to create it.

The most exciting aspects of the project, at least to me, were the green "goo" in the beginning of the video, and the overall look and feel of the scene's lighting. In my projects, I always hope to attain a realistic feel with my lighting without losing the "cartoony" feeling of most 3D animations. I felt like that goal was achieved in this animation.

Completion time was around 3-4 weeks.
